We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general guidance only. Details about our services, surfaces and methods may change, and nothing on the site should be taken as a fixed commitment until we have confirmed it with you directly.
Any prices, estimates or timeframes discussed are indicative until we have seen the job and provided a written quote. A formal quote is valid for the period stated in it. Work is carried out on the basis of the agreement made directly between you and Driveway Doctor at the time of booking.
If you agree a job with us somewhere other than our own premises, for example at your home when we call out to look at the work, that is an off-premises contract in law. If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14 days run from the day the agreement is made.
To cancel, just tell us clearly before the 14 days are up. An email to brian@drivewaydoctor.ie, a text or WhatsApp to 086 0222 035, or a phone call are all fine. You do not need a particular form of words, only to make it clear that you are cancelling.
Most people want the work done sooner than 14 days, and that is not a problem. If you ask us to start inside the cancellation period, we will note that you asked. Two things follow from it:
If we have cancelled anything you have paid for, we refund you within 14 days of being told, less any fair share for work already carried out at your request.
None of this affects your separate rights if the work is faulty, not as described, or not carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Talk to Brian first, on 086 0222 035 or brian@drivewaydoctor.ie. Most things are sorted quickly by coming back out and looking at the job. If we cannot settle it between us, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) for advice on your consumer rights.
